The training team assess training needs, identify local resources and design and facilitate training programmes to fit the client's requirements. The training programmes are designed to be practical informative sessions spread over a period of time, depending on the project. The focus of the training programmes at ITPI is to acquaint the participants/users with the relevant technology. Also, every effort is made to promote associated best practices in the refrigeration and air-conditioning sector or in renewable energy.
At IT Power India, identifying training needs and designing training programmes for effective implementation of energy and environment projects is a key strength. Since its inception in 1997, ITPI has been providing training both as an important component of all renewable energy and environmental projects being implemented by the company and as a stand-alone activity for major clients. All ITPI training programmes are specially designed to suit the various projects and client needs. Keeping in mind the requirements of each project, experienced engineers and HRD specialists assess training needs, identify local training resources, and design training courses.
Centralized training is provided at the permanent training center established in Auroville as well on site across the world to build local capacities. Training in situ is carried out at a variety of locations, from the remote regions of Nepal to the foothills of the Himalayas and in offices throughout the world. Field training missions also often accompany technological installations and are conducted on site.
