ITPI has also authored a range of technical papers to assist decision-makers in their assessment of renewable energy systems technologies and projects.

ITPI has a specialized Publications Division, which comprises of communications and human resource development specialists and in-house graphics and layout experts. External resource persons such as a well-known illustrator, photographer, video producer, creative writer and sound specialist are also associated with the Publications Division, providing their specialized services as and when required.

Additionally, a full-time dedicated team of highly skilled IT professionals creates software solutions to support the implementation of ITPI projects in the fields of appropriate technology for health, renewable energy, finance and training. ITPI has pioneered information management systems, creating several unique software packages to better manage and implement the projects such as
